The 2008 UK Jewellery Awards took place on the 17th July at the Grosvenor House Hotel, Park Lane. The awards evening included a spectacular, theatrical jewellery catwalk show and our celebrity host, soul singer Mica Paris, performed her new single, live on stage. It was a tremendous evening where the very best in the industry were awarded and applauded. While jewellery sales are not immune to economic downturns, great brands selling beautifully designed and crafted products in an inspiring retail environment by enthusiastic sales staff, who have been trained and motivated by the very best of employers, will not only survive threats of recession but will be able to prosper in lean times.
